Elise (Evans) Hayes was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas before coming to Norman to attend the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a B.B.A. in Accounting in 2002 and a Juris Doctorate in 2005.  During law school, Elise competed in national moot court competitions and received the Dean’s Award for Advocacy.  Upon graduation, Elise joined Traynor, Long & Wynne, a general practice firm in Enid, Oklahoma, and honed her skills in a variety of areas, including family law, adoption, probate, estate planning, title examination, education law and criminal defense.  She later returned to Norman as an associate attorney at the Trimble Law Office, under the direction of former Cleveland County District Court Judge Preston A. Trimble, and continued to handle a wide range of civil cases. In 2015, Elise  joined an oil and gas title examination firm in Oklahoma City, where she rendered drilling title opinions for lands in Oklahoma while continuing to accept a smaller number of probate and family law cases.  Armed with an additional skill set, Elise returned to Norman in 2020, focusing her practice on family law, probate and estate planning.
